A yoga camp is like a seminar. It is a very effective way of engaging the employees into yoga’s practice and benefits.
It can be done as a full weekend program or as half day seminars over a several weekend days.
Program (starts from early morning):
Breathing exercises.
Lecture 1: the connection between body, mind and breath.
Lecture 2: the 5 points of yoga (proper exercise, proper breathing, proper diet, proper relaxation, positive thinking)
Lecture 3: Life aspects & the influence of yoga for a better life.
Workshop 1: prevention of and overcoming back and joints problems.
Workshop 2: prevention of hypertension, depression, stress and other common health problems.
Different yoga practices including: concentration and relaxation.
A wide, well aerated, quiet & empty room.
Yoga mat (students can bring their own or company can provide).
Comfortable clothes (employees can bring along).
It can be started as a once per week class and can be increased later on depending on room availability and/or the need.
It can be a regular thing or a program that goes up to 6 weeks ( can be discussed according to company need).
Classes can be of 30 minutes length to suit lunch break timing and can also last up to 60 or 90 minutes if done before or after working hours.
