Introducing the 12 basic Sivananda postures / Proper guidance on how to practice each / Highlight on their benefits

*5 Points of yoga :
The lecture’s aim is to show how yoga can be implemented as a lifestyle in our day to day life including how to shift to a proper diet, the importance of proper exercise, breathing and relaxation as well as positive thinking.

*Yoga Nidra:
Is a practice from the Bihar school of Yoga.
It is a powerful practice that uses a deep  relaxation technique. It is not a mere physical relaxation but a mental and spiritual one. A sankalapa or resolution can be implemented during the practice.

*8 limbs of yoga or Ashtanga Yoga:
These are the 8 steps put together thousands of years ago by Patanjali (an Indian sage).
These steps help attain a higher state:
Yamas & Niyamas (personal code & social code), Asana (Yoga exercises ), Pranayama (Yogic Breathing), Pratyahara (Withdrawal of the senses), Dharana (Concentration), Dhyana (Meditation) and Samadhi (Super conscious state).

*Japa meditation
Is a guided meditation while focalizing on a mantra
