Our 200 Hours teacher training course is an Authentic Hatha Yoga course following the teachings of Swami Sivananda and his lineage.
The course will take place in Varkala , Kerala,South State of India. Varkala is located by the beach, has a very nice weather and lovely greeneries.
It is a wonderful place to focus on your learnings of yoga philosophy, develop your personal practice and receive the tools to become a yoga teacher.
Introduction to Yoga philosophy including the four paths of Yoga (karma Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Jnana Yoga, Raja Yoga), Hatha Yoga (astral body, nadis & chakras), Bhagavad Gita Study (classical scripture)
The effect of hatha yoga on the major body systems
Yoga diet (influence on the mind, nutrition according to Ayurveda guidelines, vegetarianism)
Developing self-practice (posture alignment, advanced postures…) as well as methodology of teaching students of different levels (including prenatal & kids yoga).
Learning the basic breathing exercises and introduction to the advanced ones.

Course Payment is non-refundable; however a credit note may be issued and is valid for one year from the date of issue. It can only be used for future courses.
Consumption of cigarettes, drugs, alcohol and non-vegetarian food is not permitted. Clothes must cover the body to a certain extent (example: no tank tops, I-shirts, transparent clothes or shorts above the knee), preferable lose clothes. Playing loud music is prohibited. Students must attend all classes & activities. Permission is needed to leave the Ashram except on the days off.
